I played a pivotal role in collaborating with farmers to establish a Elder Farms, a prominent elderberry brand that offers locally grown elderberries from Missouri and Midwest Farms. From the outset, I contributed to the brand’s identity by creating the initial logo and designing the labels for our products. As our brand expanded, we diversified our offerings by introducing CBD-infused products, combining the natural benefits of elderberries with CBD. We also integrated locally produced honey from one of the elderberry farms into our product line.
During the initial stages of the brand’s development, I assumed the responsibility of managing the social media presence and content creation. As our team grew, I transitioned to focusing on larger creative projects within the company. This led us to embark on a rebranding initiative, where I collaborated with a new creative team to develop a fresh brand identity and design new labels. Eventually, I resumed my involvement with label design and expanded my contributions by creating additional marketing materials like brochures, wholesale invoices, and product catalogs.
Throughout the formative years of the brand, I also took on the task of coordinating the printing of labels and other product materials. This hands-on experience enabled me to gain valuable insights into the requirements and considerations necessary for professional printing when crafting designs. Moreover, my involvement in managing the social media marketing efforts proved invaluable in developing engaging content for new businesses that sought to sell our products. Lastly, I played a key role in capturing high-quality product photographs, which significantly enhanced our marketing materials.
Overall, my involvement in this project encompassed various aspects of branding, design, marketing, and photography, enabling me to cultivate a comprehensive skill set and contribute to the growth and success of the elderberry brand.
